The High Protein Whole Wheat Bread with Walnuts I made and put into the last blog was consistently delicious and held up well as a sandwich bread these past several days. Since I made 2 loaves, however, and there are only 2 of us in the household, we still have one loaf to finish (which I had frozen until we were ready for it) before I venture into making another one. So, I will bake another whole wheat bread – again trying to improve on the protein content and texture – on Monday or Tuesday. I have some interesting ideas about what to do with the new loaf and am looking forward to baking!
